ABOUT
I assisted in design and fabrication of Nguyen Inc.’s New York fashion week show. We used upcycling techniques to transform jersey t-shirts into one-of-a-kind runway looks.
ACCESSORIES DESIGN

Designed and constructed intricate crosses and chokers made from lanyard string.
SEWING SAMPLES
one of one textiles & yarns
I made yarn from jersey t-shirts sourced from thrift stores. The strands were used in the long fringe skirts and knitted up to be mini skirts. In addition, I created yardage from donated white t-shirts (see top, middle).

I assisted in cutting and sewing many of these looks for the show.
